Myra Hinson

A Memorial Visitation for Myra Hinson, 70, formerly of Arlington Heights, will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, from 11:00 AM until the time of the Celebration at 1:00 PM. The Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.

Myra was born in Stuttgart, Germany to Petro and Rosa Slywczuk. She passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, after a brief battle with stage 4 lymphoma.

Myra is remembered for her compassion for others, both people and animals. She always put family and friends before herself. Her daughters and grandchildren were the pride of her life. Her family is grateful she is now at peace and has been reunited with her late husband and parents.

Myra was the beloved wife of the late Timothy Hinson; loving mother of Tiffany (Alex) Wallace and Amanda (Jeremy) White; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Joshua and Matthew Wallace. She is also survived by her twin sister, Luba Fritz; brother, Nick Slywczuk; and nieces, Nicole Bowman and Becca Slywczuk.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
