Nancy J. Moore

Memorial Visitation for Nancy J. (nee Peterson) Moore, 66, a Lake Zurich resident for 11 years and formerly of Milwaukee, WI, will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service, 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 Dundee Avenue, Barrington, IL 60010.  The Interment was private.

Nancy was born September 4, 1948 in Harvard, IL and she passed away November 13, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

A graduate of Harvard High School and Northern Illinois University, Nancy worked as a legal secretary for Foley and Lardner in Milwaukee. After earning an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, she worked as a grant writer for Marquette University.  She was also Grants Manager for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and sang with the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus for several years.  After moving to Illinois due to medical ailments, Nancy served as a volunteer in the Risk Management and Care Management departments at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville and was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Barrington.

Survivors include her sister, Joan L. (Randy) Kosman; nieces, Amanda (Steve) James, Megan (Shane) Steele, Bethany (TJ) McHugh; and 6 great nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Logan J. and Louise (nee Worley) Peterson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Barrington.
