Nancy Josefchuk

Memorial Visitation for Nancy Josefchuk, 75, of Barrington, will be held at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, Thursday, August 16, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with family remembrances at 12:00 p.m. The Interment will be private.

Nancy was born October 11, 1942 in Chicago, and passed away August 11, 2018 at home, in Barrington, surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of Michael C. Josefchuk, dear daughter of Ann (nee Donohue) Burski and the late Leonard Burski; fond sister of James (John Guidas) Burski, Kathy (Len) Cassert, Thomas (Pam) Burski and Michael (Ann Copley) Burski.

Nancy attended St. Viator Elementary School, Alvernia High School, and Loyola University. She taught in the Chicago Public Schools for 18 years and worked as a computer programmer following her teaching career. In 1970, Nancy married the love of her life, Michael Josefchuk. One of Nancy’s greatest joys was following the Chicago Cubs. Nancy and Mike were season ticket holders for many years. Nancy’s life revolved around her loving husband Mike and her extended family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
