Nicholas O. Excell

A Celebration of his Life, for Nicholas (Nick) O. Excell of Holiday Hills, will take place July 7, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Faith Community United Church of Christ, 2023 Rt. 176, Crystal Lake, IL, 60014 (by Bay View Beach Road).

Nick entered this world April 2, 1957 and passed away June 14, 2018.

Loving husband to Catherine (Cathy Freier), father to his faithful four- legged children, Oliver, Simon, and Molly; dear brother to Chris (Linda), Tony (Carol), Greg (Melissa), Mitchell (Ayu), and Douglas (Lisa); brother-in-law to Jan (Don) Schelberger; loving and fun uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Excell and Richard Excell. 

Nick was a graduate of Barrington High School and the Culinary Institute of America and worked in the food service and retirement industry until his death.  Nick loved life, golf and animals and loved his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
