Nina Stanish

Visitation for Nina Stanish (nee Gawrusik), 88, of McHenry since 1995, formerly of Elmhurst, will be held Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service, 7:00 p.m., at the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, 1449 N. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL, 60067.  The Funeral Service will begin Monday, June 15, 2015, 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Palatine.  An Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.

Nina was born November 29, 1926 in Chicago and she passed away peacefully, June 10, 2015 in McHenry surrounded by her family after a 5 year battle with breast cancer.

Beloved wife of Albert Stanish; loving mother of Donna Stanish, Michael (late Janet) Stanish and Mark (Maggie) Stanish; loving grandmother of Jeffery (Kay) Stanish, Natalie Stanish, Katie Stanish, Cameron Stanish and Madeleine Stanish; loving great-grandmother of Jeffery Jr. and Joey Stanish.
