Norbert D. Plencner

Visitation for Norbert D. Plencner, 89, of Kildeer since 1971, will be held on Tuesday, November 11th at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.  Services will begin with prayers, 9:30AM on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the funeral home proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, for a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM.  The Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Norbert was born on September 8, 1925 in Chicago to Louis and Josephine Plencner; he died Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Arlington Heights.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Norbert is survived by his wife, Marion (nee Watrous) whom he married January 23, 1954 in Park Ridge; Children, Mary P. (Mel) Gregory, Cliff (Jenantte), Glenn (Cathy), David (Pamela), Robert (Cheryl); Grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Rachel, Josh, Samuel, Abbigail; Great-Grandson, Carter, and Uncle Robert Pudelwitts.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard and his sister Joan Herlihy.
