Norman V. Walsh

Visitation for Norman V. Walsh, 77, of Barrington, will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Road, Barrington, from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.  The Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.

He was born on January 3, 1939 in Cleveland, OH and passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016.

Norman was an active member of Barrington United Methodist Church and a Marine Corp. veteran.  He enjoyed sports, coaching baseball, basketball and soccer at many levels.  Watching his grandsons compete was of great joy to him.

He was the beloved husband of the late Carla; father of Michelle (Daniel) Connolly and Michael (Shelly); grandfather of Kevin and David Connolly, and Maxwell, Mitchell and Michael Jr. Walsh; and brother of Helen Alunni.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Eva and brother Richard F. Walsh Jr.
