Pamela A. Gulas

A Memorial Gathering for Pamela Ann (nee Novatny) Gulas, 79, will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  A Celebration of Life, during which all are invited to share their memories of Pam, will take place during the gathering beginning at 3:30 PM.  The Interment will be private.

Pamela passed away at her home on November, 13, 2015 and was born on September 20, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio.

She is the daughter of the late William and Mary (nee Haverdill) Novatny. Beloved wife of 58 years of Edward Gulas; loving mother of Michael (Rebecca Perrin) Gulas, Mary Beth Levine, Mark (Lisa) Gulas and Marsha Gulas; cherished grandmother of Saban Gulas, Rachel and Evan (fiancée Mackenzie Harrington) Levine, Kyle and Troy Gulas, Logan, Jacob and Ethan Wenk; dear sister of William (Jean) Novatny; and fond aunt of Pastor Darlene Grega (deceased), Jim (Marianne) Grega, Brian (Cathy) Novatny, and Matthew Novatny (deceased).

Family and friends remember Pam as a deeply devoted mother, Nana and aunt, and a warm and vivacious friend to many.  She graduated from Brecksville High School in 1954 and spent many years in Germany and the Netherlands with her family.  The family moved to their current home in North Barrington in 1976.
