Patricia J. Cavenagh

Visitation for Patricia J. Cavenagh (nee Cuvelier), 84, of Palatine since 1967, will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, IL 60067.  The Interment will be private.

Patricia was born January 9, 1937 in Chicago, and she passed away October 29, 2021 in Arlington Heights.

Patricia was the beloved wife of Thomas D. Cavenagh Sr.; loving mother of Thomas (Yasmin) Cavenagh, Kathleen (Walter) Becker, and the late Caryl Krieter (Dean); loving grandmother of Sean Cavenagh, Benjamin Cavenagh, Gillian Cavenagh, Tom Becker, Janie Becker, Daniel (Cassie) Krieter, David (Claire) Krieter, Kaelyn (Daniel) Duesterbeck, and Kevin (Patricia) Krieter; loving great grandmother of Kyle Krieter, Jackson Krieter, Vivienne Duesterbeck, Eliza Duesterbeck, Ettalyn Duesterbeck, Ivy Duesterbeck, Cole Duesterbeck, Kaleigh Krieter, and Isla Krieter; dear daughter of the late Prosper and Bertha (nee Thiessen) Cuvelier.

Pat’s greatest treasures were her beloved family and grand circle of friends. Pat was a devout Catholic who lived her faith through Cursillo, Christ Renews His Parish, Prison Ministry, Marriage Encounter and in generous service to the poor and the overlooked.
