Patrick T. Hogan

Visitation for Patrick T. Hogan, 69, of Palatine, will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Interment will be private.

Pat was a loving husband, father and grandfather (aka GrandPat & Abuelito). His family was most important to him, along with Da Bears, White Sox, Blackhawks and Da Bulls. Pat enjoyed nature and wildlife photography, frequently visiting forest preserves, State Parks and wildlife reserves. Pat always captured a family photo during all gatherings.

Pat grew up on the Southside of Chicago, attended St. Phillip Neri School, Mt. Carmel High School, and graduated from Western University with a BA in Industrial Arts. He was a Machine Tool Sales Engineer for over 40years, recently retiring in May 2022.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 41 years Mary Hogan (nee Lehnen); children Sean; his wife, Kaylin and son, Hennelly; son, Tom, his wife, Selina and their children, Jacob and Amia; daughter, Molly, her husband, Bryan and their children, Owen and Finnegan.

Also survived by sister, Virginia Woods; brother, James Hogan and brother-in-law, Barney Turnock; as well as their children and many cousins of the Milan, Anderson, Williams and Farrell families.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, James and Mary Hogan; his sister, Colleen Turnock and brother-in-law, Peter Woods.

He will be deeply missed by all who know him.
