Paul J. Eiswerth

A Memorial Visitation for Paul J. Eiswerth, a resident of Lake Zurich, age 73, will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  A Memorial Mass will be said on Thursday, June 30, 2016, 10:30AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Interment will be private.

Paul died June 23, 2016 at 9:30 pm surrounded by loved ones.  Born May 8, 1943 in Erie, PA, he was the son of the late Wilfrid and Leda (Doubet) Eiswerth.  After graduating from Gannon University with a bachelor’s degree in business, he served in the Army, attaining the rank of corporal during his four years of service.  In 1972 he married his wife, Barbara J. Wasielewski (d. 2008) and settled in Swickley, PA.  They moved their family of four to Lake Zurich, IL in 1983 and remained there for their thirty-five years of marriage.  In 2008, Paul entered retirement from the credit industry.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his eldest brother David U Eiswerth (wife Audrey).  He is survived by his two sons, Brian (wife Jamie) of Lakemoor, IL and Patrick (wife Mary Beth) of Chicago, IL and three grandchildren; Gavin (12), Margaret (10) and Bennett (2) Eiswerth.  He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Eiswerth (wife Betty Ann) of Mentor, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews.
