Phyllis A. Tucker

Visitation for Phyllis A. Tucker, 68, of Palatine for 25 years, will be on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.  Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1190 N. Hicks Road, Palatine, at 11:00AM.  She will lie in state at the church from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service.  The Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.  

Phyllis was born on August 20, 1947 in Elgin to Howard and Edna Tucker.  She passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at JourneyCare Hospice in Arlington Heights.  

Phyllis was a very active member of Prince of Peace.  She enjoyed traveling, photography, and she was an avid Cubs and Blackhawks fan.  Phyllis enjoyed volunteering at Community Threads.  

She is survived by her dear siblings, Howard (Jane) Tucker, Janice (Gaylan) Meyer and Kathy (Jeff) Grasso; fond nieces and nephews, Greg, Jason, Kevin, Krista, Nathan, Cynthia, Beth, Philip, Mark, and Emily; and 6 great grand nieces and nephews.
