Phyllis B. Conrad

Phyllis B. Conrad (nee Stevens), 88, of Vernon Hills, formerly of Grayslake, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014.  She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

Visitation for Phyllis will be from 4:00pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00pm on Friday, January 9th, 2015 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The Interment will be private.

Phyllis was born on July 1, 1926 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Arlo and Elizabeth Stevens.  She and her late husband, Albert, were married 63 years and raised four kids in the Chicago area.  Her memories and passion for family and values will live on with her family and friends.  She had a zest for life and was a very positive, caring person.  Phyllis always put others first and could take and challenge and find the bright side.  Her passion to make you feel special was a tremendous gift she shared with all.

Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late Albert F. Conrad; loving mother of Bruce (Barbara) Conrad, Diane (Gilbert) Palm, Beth (Kent) Jaremus and Steve (Amy) Conrad; cherished grandmother of Alexandra (John) Sissulak, Rachel (Andrew) Copp, Garrett and Julianne Palm, Troy Jaremus, Tyler, Ryan and Logan Conrad; great grandmother of Adelynn Copp; dear sister of Arlo (Dorothy) Stevens; and aunt of many nieces & nephews.
