Randall S. Wood

A Memorial Visitation for Randall S. Wood, 61, of Palatine, will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 1:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy. Palatine.  Pastor Bryan Wood will be officiating.

Randall was born December 6, 1955 in Evanston, IL, and he passed away February 7, 2017 in Arlington Heights, IL.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending days at the cabin in Wisconsin.  Most of all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.  He was a regular “Mr. Fix It” and an advocate for random acts of kindness.

Adored husband of Lori S. Wood (nee Lembachner); proud father of Jason (Christi) Wood and Kevin (Rachael) Wood; loving grandpa of Hailey and Daniel Wood; dear son of the late Arthur and Marilyn (Dewar) Wood; fond brother of Ronald (Judy) Wood, Rhonda (late Dennis) Gallagher, Rayne Ann (Theresa) Wood, and the late Rodger Wood; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the charity of one’s choice.
