Reid R. Minden

A Memorial Visitation for Reid Richard Minden, 55, of Kildeer, will be held Monday, January 7, 2019, his birthday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods. The Inurnment will follow at St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.

Reid was born January 7, 1963 in Ames, Iowa, and passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 24, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family on Christmas Eve.

He is survived by his daughters Kelsey Minden and Kennedy Minden; mother Terry Sue (Dan) Macey; father Arlo James Minden; siblings Robert Macey, Todd Minden, Kimberly (Macey) Hanna and Elizabeth (Minden) Sieb. Reid also had many nieces and nephews, who he loved very much.

Reid graduated from Lake Zurich high school in 1981, and then attended Western Michigan University. He had made many life long friends during that time in his life.

Reid worked at Aon in Lincolnshire as a Health Care Advisor. He loved to cook, enjoyed photography, politics, music and the Chicago Bears. Reid loved all of his family, but his daughters were the center of his life. Although his passing was unexpected and sudden, he managed to bring everyone in the family together in this trying time. He was a wonderful man, father, son, uncle, brother and will be missed so dearly.
