Reno M. Romei

Visitation for Reno M. Romei, 91, will be held on Friday, April  1, 2016 at the  Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, from 9:00 am until the time of the Prayers at 11:30 am.  The Funeral Mass will follow, 12:00 pm at St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The Interment will be private.

The son of a proud Italian American family, Reno served in the US Army Air Corp in WWII.  He completed his education at Bradley University. Building sturdy, solid homes became his life’s work.  Building a strong family based upon a solid foundation of love and commitment with Rita was his life.

Reno was the beloved husband of Rita (nee Polidori); father of Randy (Mary Ann Chambers), Regan (Laurie) and Robert (Dianne); grandfather of Phil (Ellen Marra) Romei, Ann Romei, Peter (Meggan) Romei, Landen (Richard) Zernickow, Kaitlin (fiancé Duncan Standridge) Romei, Matthew Romei, Pierce Romei and Allison Romei.
