Richard A. Price, Sr., 92, of Palatine formerly of Franklin Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

He was a veteran of WWII Pacific Theater, awarded two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, and other war related medals.  He retired from Navistar in 1981.  Richard was born to Ralph Kay and Mabel Jenny (nee: Oman) Price in New Bedford, Massachusetts in May 1921.

He is survived by his wife Frances E. Price; his children Richard A. (Marilyn) Price, Jr., Cynthia (Clifton) Haslop and Keith (Debra) Price; proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  A private family interment will take place at Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago.  Memorial Services will be held at the Arlington Heights First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints at a later date.
