Richard “Dick” R. Johnson

Visitation for Richard “Dick” Roy Johnson, 64, a long time resident of Hawthorn Woods, will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday also at the funeral home.  The Interment will be private.

He was born on October 22, 1952 in Evanston, IL and passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 in Glendale, AZ after a short illness.

He worked for ComEd for 38 years.  Dick loved his family, friends, dog, golf and driving his Corvette.

Richard is survived by his wife Heidi Johnson (nee Halabrin); children Adam Reindl and Amanda Wolfe (nee Reindl); granddaughter Ashley (Brady) Siltman (nee Wolfe), great grandchildren Gavin and Mason Siltman; sister Lois (the late Jim) Rainero (nee Johnson)  brother Steven (Susan) Johnson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Roy Johnson, mother Carol Kwielford (nee Hoffmann) and step mother Gloria Johnson.
