Richard H. Smith

Visitation for Richard Henry Smith, 81, of Lincolnshire and Schaumburg, IL, will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Prayers will be said Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 10:00am also at the funeral home, proceeding to St Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, for 10:30am Funeral Mass.  The Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.

Richard passed away November 12, 2016 and was born August 10, 1935, to Clifford and Opal (Robinett) Smith in St. Louis, MO.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy Dominicis and the late Susan Patricia (O’Brien) Smith; loving father of Patrice (Douglas) Lindberg and Richard (Karen) Smith; and cherished grandfather of Michael, Ryan and Stephen Lindberg, James and Jason Smith, Henry and Mia Dominicis.

He was proud to serve in the USAF and then spent his career in metallurgical sales.  His life was defined by family, friends, and faith.
