Richard O. Nelson,

Visitation for Richard Owen Nelson, 94, a lifelong resident of Lake Zurich, will be held Monday, May 6, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. An Interment will follow in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.

Richard was born, October 19, 1929, in Cuba Township, and passed away, April 28, 2024, in Wauconda.

Richard was the beloved husband of the late Shirley E. Nelson (nee Townsend); loving father of Steve (Sandy) Nelson, Randy Nelson, Terry (Kelly) Nelson; loving grandfather of Terry (Kerry) Nelson, Jessica Nelson, Cody Nelson and Alex Nelson; dear son of the late Ernest and Mamie (nee Hoeft) Nelson.
