Robert A. Auclair

Visitation for Robert “Bob” Armand Auclair, 85, of Lake Barrington, will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 1:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich.  The Visitation will continue Monday, January 9, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich. An Interment will follow in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Bob passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was married to Joan (Carlsen) for 64 years; Dad to Marypat Gabor, Bobby Auclair (deceased Feb. 18, 2009), Sheri Auclair, Michelle and Jeff Dougherty; Grandpa, Poppy, Papa to Nick (Niki & Kennedy), Clay, Chase, Austin (Gabby & Carter), Alexis Gabor, Bobby & Billy Auclair, David Auclair Anderson, Michael Anderson (Collette & Aurelia), Sarah Kellen (Dan & Wesley), Mikala, Reilly & Cam Dougherty; Brother to Raymond & Norine and Omer & Jan Auclair; deceased Sisters, Jackie Nowicki and Carol Auclair; Paul & Colleen Harlow and Bob & Lynn Carlsen; Devoted Godfather, loving Uncle and great friend to many.

Bob is best described as an authentic man who loves God, family, friends, and his Chicago Bears. He retired from a long and successful career at Dun & Bradstreet. Well-loved and respected, Bob’s deep faith in God and sense of humor naturally drew people, and those qualities will continue to be a shining presence. We Love You!
