Robert A. Herdzina

Visitation for Robert A. Herdzina, 77, of Lake Zurich, formerly of Des Plaines, will be held from 3:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.

Prayers will begin Tuesday, July 26, 2016, 9:30a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for a 10:00a.m. Funeral Mass.  Father David Ryan will officiate the Funeral Mass.

Robert was born November 28, 1938 in Chicago and he passed away July 22, 2016 at JourneyCare in Barrington.

Beloved husband of Genevieve F. (nee Janicki) Herdzina; loving father of Gregory Herdzina, Sharon (Greg) Hatz and Susan (Mark) Graham; loving grandfather of Daniel and Jennifer Herdzina, Jessica and  Stephanie Hatz and Eric and Sarah Graham; fond brother of Dennis Herdzina and Barbara Johnson.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents August and Lillian (nee Tadel) Herdzina; brother, Jake Herdzina and sister, Beverly Chmielewski.
