Robert Archibald, most recently of Tower Lakes, passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 39.
Robert was born March 29, 1980 in Paisley, Scotland. He attended the University of Illinois where he played four seasons of basketball for the Illini from 1998-2002. He became the first Scottish player to play in the NBA and went on to have a successful career in both the US and Europe. Robert concluded his basketball career representing Great Britain in the 2012 Olympics. In 2015 Robert launched his career as a State Farm Agent.
Robert is survived by his son Robbie, wife Molly; his parents Bobby and Heather; sister Jemma, brother-in-law Mike and their children Michael and Victoria.
