Robert B. Casper

Robert B. Casper, 92, a resident of LakeZurich since 1948.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, and from 10:00AM until the time of the service at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. Peter United Church of Christ, 47 Church Street, Lake Zurich.  An Interment will follow at Randhill Park Cemetery in Arlington Heights.

Bob was born on April 16, 1921 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Coy Leonard and Susan (nee Riley) Casper and passed away early on Saturday, November 30, 2013.

Bob founded Casper True Value Hardware in 1965 and was also a WWII Air Force Veteran.

The loving husband of 65 years of Hazel (nee Bubert) Casper; loving father of Deborah Davidson and John (Brenda) Casper; dear grandfather of Sean (Fiancé Elizabeth Grob) Davidson and Amy Casper; brother in law of Emily Casper; also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.  He is preceded in death by his brothers Coy Leonard II and Howard Casper.

In lieu of flowers, memorials, in memory of Bob, would be appreciated for St. Peter United Church of Christ.
