Robert “Bo” Grethe

Visitation for Robert “Bo” Grethe, 74, of Elgin, formerly of Lake Zurich, will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The Funeral Service will begin, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017 also at the funeral home in Lake Zurich.  The Interment will follow in Lake Zurich Cemetery.

Bo was born September 29, 1942 in Chicago, and passed away April 22, 2017 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, after a short illness.

Robert was a kind and gentle man.  He cared deeply about his family and friends.  His friendly nature and sweet innocence made him a joy to be around.  He was a gift from God and his memory will be forever in our hearts.

Loving brother of Diane (Claude) Sonday, Richard Grethe and the late William and Herbert Grethe; dear son of the late William and Edna (nee Kaehler) Grethe; uncle of several nieces, nephews and cousin to many.  Also survived by many friends that he dearly loved.
