Robert J. Maraccini

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert John Maraccini, known to friends as “The Commish,” announces his passing on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the age of 70. A Visitation to celebrate Robert will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich.

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret and his children; Mike (Sheryl), and Dave (Carrie), and step-children Rob (Jan) and Kelly (Nick). Robert will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren; Bryan, Kevin, Chaise, Kaitlyn, Megan, Mackenzie and Averi, and by his brothers; Joe, Al, Len and Pete. Robert was born on February 9, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Agnes Maraccini.

Robert had a passion for sports. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
