Robert L. Bickers

Services and Interment for Robert L. Bickers, 82, of Wauconda, will be held privately. The Interment will be at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.

Bob passed away on July 30, 2023, and was born on January 1, 1941, in St. Louis, MO.

He was the loving husband of the late Gwendolyn G. (nee Justus); father of Andrew (Tiffany) Bickers and Janelle (Wayne) Hockett; grandfather of Ruth, Samantha and Yoline.

Throughout his adult life, he was a successful businessman, loyal friend, and dedicated Christ-follower. The loss of his beloved wife Gwendolyn was one of his hardest struggles. In recent years, Bob began to experience the ravages of dementia. Through numerous transitions, pneumonia, and a lengthy hospital stay, the severity of the dementia increased rapidly. Although his presence will be missed, he is now with his dear Gwendolyn in peace.
