Robert T. Jacobs

Visitation for Robert T. Jacobs, 38, of ForestLake will be from 9:30am until time of Mass at 11:00am on Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Francis de Sales Church, 33   S. Buesching Road, LakeZurich.  The interment will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Hawthorn Woods.

He was born June 1, 1975 and passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013.

Robert worked at the Jewel in Lake Zurich for 15 years.  He participated in several Special Olympic events including: softball, swimming, basketball, track and field, bowling, snowshoeing and golf.  He was also actively involved with SRACLC and SRSNLC.  Robert regularly participated in dances, dinner clubs and plays.

He was the loving son of Tom & Kathie; brother of Christie (Matt) McGuinn; uncle of Meghan and Colin; and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to, Free Spirits Special Olympics Softball, 1130 Margate Lane, Libertyville, IL 60048.
