Ronald V. Newman

A Funeral Mass for Ronald “Ron” V. Newman, 93, of Deer Park, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The Interment will be private.

Ron was born on November 2, 1930, to Vincent J. and Helen A. Newman. He passed away on Oct 7, 2024. 

Ron was a 35-year resident of Park Ridge, a former Director in the Park Ridge Jaycees, active with the Ela Township Community, and former resident of Wauconda and Wonder Lake where he enjoyed the water. Ron was a kind, generous man and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and husband who loved his family and offered a warm smile to everyone he met.

He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Rose Newman for 69 years; loving father of Vincent (Susan), Timothy (Barbara), Brian (Amy); dear grandfather of Sarah, Vincent (Deanna), Patrick, Shawn, Connor, Daniel, Erik (Abbie), and Melissa (Chris); and great-grandfather of Vincent and Penelope; brother of Dennis (Maria); and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Dianne (Bill).
