Rose Chiavola

Visitation for Rose Chiavola (nee Alongi), 96, of Palatine, will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  Prayers will be said Thursday, March 26, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine, with a Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, IL 60074.  The Entombment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Rose was born April 22, 1918 in Chicago, IL and she passed away March 22, 2015 at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village, IL.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Chiavola Sr., loving mother of Diane (Jack) Wagner, Lynne (Joseph) Passarella and Anthony (Patti) Chiavola Jr.; loving grandmother of John Wagner, Kimberly Wagner, Jacquelyn Passarella, Joseph Passarella Jr., Danny Chiavola and Anthony (Maureen) Chiavola III, loving great-grandmother of Caitlin, Colleen,  Anthony (A.J.), Paige, Tara and  Nichole Chiavola; dear daughter of the late Angelo and Lucy (nee DiFrisco) Alongi, fond sister of Bernice (late John) Speciale, Mildred (late Victor) Monteleone and the late John (Mary) Alongi.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Alexian Brothers Foundation, 304 Salt Creek Lane, Arlington Heights, IL 60005
