Rose Marie Sochor

All are welcome who knew and loved our mom (if you knew her, you loved her) to join us at a memorial gathering January 15, 2022, from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m., at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home 201 N. Northwest Hwy. in Palatine.

Born in Aurora, IL on July 28, 1928, Rose Marie also joins her parents Bertha and Emery Youngman, her sisters Betty Dralle and Anne (Nibs) Foley, and some dear friends.

In the wee hours of December 5, 2022, Rose Marie Sochor hit the celestial road with Don, who had been patiently waiting for 20 years.

She leaves behind her children Guy, Gary, and Cree (David Clegg); her grandchildren Stephen (Jaime), Patrick (Mikyeila), and Rob; Melinda Keen Heitkamp (Dave), and Aaron; Abigael Sherby (Yann Millar), Max, and Colt; great-grandchildren Nick and Emily, and Elliott and William; and great-great-granddaughter Evelyn Rose.

Rose Marie also leaves behind a multitude of wonderful friends from the neighborhood and beyond.

Per Mom’s request, no flowers please, but you may donate to Alzheimer’s research to find a cure for this horrific disease.
