Rosemary L. Hogan

Visitation for Rosemary L. Hogan, 85, of Palatine, will be on Friday, July, 8, 2016 from 4:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Prayers will be said on Saturday, July 9, 2016, 9:30a.m. also at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1201 E. Anderson Dr, Palatine for the Funeral Mass at 10:00a.m.  The Interment will be private at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Rosemary was born on February 23, 1931 to Eugene and Estelle Leet.  She passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington surrounded by her family.  

Roe was the loving wife of John “Jack” of 64 years, they were married in LaGrange, IL on June 14, 1952 and together they were blessed with six children; sons, Mark (Mary) of Bartlett, John (Valerie) of Dundee; daughters, Cathleen (Mike)  Weidner of Flower Mound, TX, Colleen (John) Marlewski  of Oxford, WI; she is also survived by  7 grandchildren, Casey, April, Michael, Jamie, Aiden, Mya and Lauren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy (Bob) Bedessem and sister-in-law, Sharon (Bruce) Danielson.  

In addition to her parents, Roe is preceded in death by her son, Michael ; daughter, Nancy  and several extended family members.
