Rosemary Mcghee

Visitation for Rosemary McGhee (nee Cummings) ,90, of Berkeley, formerly of Chicago, will be held Thursday, January 19, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass, 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Rosemary passed away with her family by her side.

She is the beloved wife of the late Robert “Red” McGhee; loving mother of Kevin (Jan) McGhee, William (Laura) McGhee, Cathy (John) Johnston, Terry (Lori) McGhee and Peter McGhee.  Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Joe) James, Samantha McGhee Belstra, Timothy (Michelle) McGhee, Katie McGhee, Bobby (Alicia) McGhee, Maggie McGhee.  Proud great-grandmother of Lilly and Xander Belstra and Cooper McGhee.  Rose was one of 14 children; she is survived by Frank, Dorothy, Bob, Peggy, Theresa, Jeanie and Carol.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Chuck, John, Michael, Jimmy; and sisters, Pat and Mary Catherine.

Rosemary had a great love for her family; she enjoyed traveling, sports, and visiting the casinos.
