Ruth A. Rohr

Visitation for Ruth A. Rohr (nee Watson), 92, of Palatine for 60 years, will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m., at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Interment will follow at Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Schiller Park, Illinois.

Ruth was born February 3, 1922, in Elmwood Park, Illinois, and she passed away November 19, 2014 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

She worked for School District 15 in Palatine for 42 years.  Ruth was an avid bowler and enjoyed cake decorating.  Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Sue Ann (Tom) Frain; granddaughters, Annie Frain and Erin Frain; great-grandchildren, Peyton Marie Pickle and Jacob Frain; brothers, Earl (late Velma) Watson Jr, Charles (Rose) Watson and Edward (Gloria) Watson; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Edward George Rohr; parents, Earl Sr. and Anna (nee Sells) Watson and her sister Pearl Watson.
