Ruth E. Peter

Visitation for Ruth E. Peter (nee Teegen), 86, a longtime resident of Palatine for 62 years, will held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Funeral Services will be held, 9:00 am on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine.  The Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Palatine, immediately after the service.

She was born June 12, 1930 in Des Plaines, IL and died on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.  Ruth had a strong Christian faith and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church for 62 years.

Ruth is the beloved wife of the late Harvey W.; mother of Larry (Corrine) Simon,  and Linda (Kyle) Franzen; grandmother of  Chad Franzen and Michelle Franzen; daughter of the late Rudolph and Eleanora Teegen; sister of Janice Kennedy, Gerald Teegen, Leona Berg, Donald Teegen, Phyllis Diehl and Howard Teegen; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
