Salvatore Farruggia

Visitation for Salvatore Farruggia, 88, will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  A Chapel Interment Service follow, 1:30 PM at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.

Salvatore Farruggia, also known as “Toto” was born August 3, 1929 in Trabia, Sicily.  He was one of 13 siblings born to Francesco and Anna Farruggia.  Salvatore was a master finish carpenter in the family business in Sicily and carried on that tradition when he arrived in Chicago in 1959 with his wife Noris {nee Borghese) and his son Gianfranco.  The heavenly Father called him home on October 22, 2017.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Noris, two sons Gianfranco and Roberto, a daughter-in-law Debbie Hudson, three grand-children Ashley, Adam, and Mora and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
