Salvatore S. Masella

Visitation for Salvatore Sam Masella, 96, of Echo Lake, Lake Zurich, will be held, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.

Sam was born September 21, 1926, in Chicago, and passed away, May 27, 2023, in Lake Zurich.

Sam was the fond uncle of Candace, Suzanne, the late Felicia, Susan, Toni, Dominick, John, the late Dominic, the late Jimmy, Ernie, and the late Jerry; dear son of the late Dom and Susie (nee Caporale); loving brother of the late Joe, Jim, Dom, John, and Felicia.

He was lab tech and proud of it working at various hospitals throughout his career.  He delivered his niece, Candace, at birth which is a famous family story.
