Sandra HallGay

Visitation for Sandra Hall-Gay, 74, of Inverness for 26 years will be on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine from 4:00PM until the time of Service at 7:00PM.  Services will also take place in Warrens, WI on Saturday, September 6, 2014.  The Interment will be at Warren Mills Cemetery, Warrens, WI.

She was born February 29, 1940 in Wyville, WI to James and Luella (nee Buchman).  She died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

Sandi loved to dance.  She and husband Doug especially enjoyed country western dancing with their friends. She also treasured the opportunities that she had to spend time with her grandsons at Fish Lake or to go to their hockey events.  Sandi had a flair for landscaping design and it was no more evident than at their place at Fish Lake, where they won Special Award Super Site for 10 years.  Sandi also relished the time she was able to spend with her pride and joy Sydney; her loving, protective Jack Russel Terrier that enjoyed every moment they had together.

Sandra is survived by her Beloved Husband, Ben Douglas Gay whom she married December 23, 1983 in Schaumburg, IL.  She is also survived by her loving children, Robert (Jill) M. Hall, Deborah (Lori Booth) L. Gay, Heather A. Doner; her dear grandchildren, Jimmie & Nathan Hall and Jesseca & Nick Doner , and  great-grandchild, Renee; her siblings, Meredith Stott, James Friedl, Jerry Friedl , John Friedl and Teri White.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 South LaFox Street, South Elgin, IL 60177
