Sante M. Iacovelli

Visitation for Sante Mario Iacovelli, age 71, of Deer Park Illinois, will be held from 2:30pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Prayers will be said, 9:30am, Friday at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for a Funeral Mass at 10:00am.  The Entombment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Sante died peacefully in his home, alongside his loving wife Patricia (nee Bonner).

He is remembered as a devoted husband and a caring father and grandfather.  Along with his beloved wife, he was a loving father of Louis, Sante, and Francis and grandfather to Sante and Gianna.  He was also a loving brother to Rose Smith (Theodore) and Joseph Iacovelli (Suzanne).

Sante was born in 1943 in Oak Park IL, to his parents Louis and Catherine.  He was married to Patricia and they eventually moved to Itasca, Illinois, where he became a very successful salesman for Motorola, winning Salesman of the year numerous times.  Sante and Patricia moved to Deer Park in 1990 where they raised 3 children.

Sante is remembered as a community activist, a supportive father, an adoring husband, and a man of the utmost strength and integrity, who had a sweetness that was without measure.
