Sergio G. Biancalana

Visitation for Sergio G. Biancalana, 83, of Mundelein, will be held at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 9:00 AM until the time of Prayers, 11:00 AM.  A Funeral Mass will be said, 11:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich.  The Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Sergio was born on August 6, 1934 in Lucca, Italy to Guido and Rosa Biancalana.  He passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017.

Sergio was the beloved husband of Emily Biancalana who he married on June 21, 1958.  He is also survived by his daughters, Karen (Roger) Tillander, Donna Kopec, Ann (Tom) Potempa; 7 grandchildren; brother, the late Father Angelo Biancalana; and sister, Rina Banducci.
