Sharon A. Hahn

Visitation for Sharon Ann Hahn, 70, a longtime resident of Palatine, will be on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016, 11:30 AM also at the funeral home.  The Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park. 

Sharon was born June 2, 1945 in Chicago to Joseph and Gertrude Hahn.  She passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 after a lengthy battle with ALS.

Sharon will be known for being an animal and nature lover.

She is survived by her sister, Sandra (Josef) Schmidt; nieces, Ann Marie (Paul) Bakun, Angela (Dave) Hammerl,  Michelle (Greg) Pourchat, Elizabeth (Nick) Leddy,  Jenny (Tom) Keller; nephews, Christopher (Kari) Schmidt, Randall Schmidt; great nieces,  Katlyn & Sarah; great nephews,  Benjamin, Zach, and Christian. And her beloved dog, Sven.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Hahn.
