Shirley A. Engblom

Visitation for Shirley A. Engblom, 94, of Skokie will be from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.

She was born on October 21, 1921 in Chicago and passed away Thursday, January 1, 2016 at her home.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Palatine and worked at First National Bank of Skokie (NBD Bank).

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Verne; daughter Gayle Anne Bauman, son Glenn Alan Engblom , grandson Carsten Bauman and her beloved dog Hallie.  She was survived by her son-in-law James G. Bauman; daughter-in-law Carolyn Englom; grandchildren Christopher (Lisa) Bauman, Kevan Bauman, Bridget Bauman, Elizabeth Bauman; great grandmother of Landon, Blair, Emma, Norah and Johnathan.
