Sophia Boltacz

Services and Interment for Sophia Boltacz (nee Sivak), 99, formerly of Wauwatosa, WI, will be private.

Sophia passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2017, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Paul R. Boltacz, and twelve brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her daughter Barbara Klein and her husband Michael Klein, her daughter Susan Boltacz and her husband Timothy Coen, and her grandchildren Shannon Coen and John P. Coen IV.

Sophia was born in Donora, PA.  She lived, married and worked in the Pittsburgh, PA  area for over 40 years until moving to Milwaukee, WI in the 1960’s.  Sophia also worked for the Veterans Administration in Milwaukee for over 20 years, and was tireless in her work on behalf of veterans.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army in Sophia’s name.  Or better yet, do something special for a member of your family today.

Family always came first for Sophia and she was a very good cook, baker, and seamstress.  Her passing leaves behind wonderful memories for her family.
