Steve Sajdak

Visitation for Steve Sajdak, 62, of Palatine, will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, Illinois, 60067.

Prayers will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine, and proceeding to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 181 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling, Illinois, 60090 for 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass. Interment Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.

Steve was born August 8, 1955 in Poland, and he passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at home in Palatine.

Beloved husband of Maria Sajdak (nee: Fraczek); father of Ela (Arek) Menzynski, Anna (Marcin) Kasprzyk, and Michael Sajdak; loving grandfather of Julia, David, Emilia and Alex ; dear son of the late Ludwik and Weronika (nee Dudek) Sajdak; fond brother of Cecylia, Anna and of the late Walter.

Steve had a big heart, supported many charities throughout his life. He loved history, had many interests in many areas and will be remembered as intelligent individual who always strived for excellence.
