Steven A. Gabriel

Memorial Visitation for Steven A. Gabriel, 25, of Lake Zurich, will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street in Barrington from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM.  The Interment will be private.

Steven was born on July 20, 1988 in DeKalb, IL the son of John J. and Cindy L. (nee: Hoover) Gabriel and passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

Steven served as a Private First Class with the U. S. Army.  He spent a tour of duty serving with the 501^st ASMC, in Iraq from September of 2009 until August of 2010.

Steven is survived by the love of his life, whom he married in January of 2010, Ashli (nee: Bailey) Gabriel; his two cherished sons Steven Andrew Jr. and Zackariah Isak Gabriel; his devoted mother Cindy Gabriel; dear brother Michael Gabriel; his father John Gabriel; stepfather Greg Auseth; grandmothers; Marilyn P. Hoover and Teresa Gabriel; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family and friends survive. Steven was preceded in death by his grandfathers Boyd Hoover and Fay Gabriel.
