Summer Sara Hengels

Our beloved Summer Sara Hengels, 32, of Palatine, went to be at rest on Saturday, September 20, 2014.  She was born on June 18, 1982 in Oak Park, Illinois the daughter of John E. and the late Lynn (nee Merz) Trent.  Summer was loved by so many and will be very deeply missed.

Summer is survived by her beloved husband Daniel R. Hengels; cherished father John E. Trent; loving siblings Zac (Kristi) Trent and Mack (Fiancé Jamie Sayers) Trent; her in laws Richard N. and Janet K. (nee Blackwell) Hengels; brother in law Brian Hengels; sister in law Jennifer (Christopher) George; nieces and nephews Taylor and Madison Trent, Faith and Alexander Hengels, Brayden George and Avery Sayers.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lynn Trent.

Summer was a well loved and respected elementary school teacher with Huntley Consolidated School District 158.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 4:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will be private.
