Susan E. Silvio

The Memorial Visitation for Susan Ellyn Silvio, 70, a resident of Inverness since 1993 and formerly of Mt. Prospect, will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Entombment will be private at All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines.

Susan was born on August 16, 1944 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (nee Curinka) Maras, and passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015.

Compassionate and fun with an infectious laugh, Susan loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, especially her three grandchildren.  She touched lives through her work as a registered nurse.  Her unwavering faith and positivity is her legacy that lives on through all who knew her.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Andre J. Silvio; loving children Tracey (John) Walsh, Jennifer (Mike) Waldner and Michael Silvio; cherished grandchildren Andrew, Kelsey and Ryan Waldner.
