Susan J. Kellermann

Visitation for Susan Jeanne Kellermann, 72, a resident of Deer Park since 1972, will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich and from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:00AM Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods.  The Interment will follow in Mt. Emblem Cemetery , Elmhurst.

Susan was born on July 25, 1943 the daughter of the late Glen and Jeanne (nee Schwarz) Warkentien and passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.

Susan was a longtime member and active in several different ministries of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods, including being a part of Ladies Aid and Altar Guild.  One of the hobbies Susan enjoyed was being a part of the American Needle Point Guild including the Fox Chapter, Illini Needlers and Chicago ANG.  She was also active with the Lake Michigan Sampler Guild.  Susan had embroidered on the State of IL Quilt for the Governors Mansion.  Susan had passion for antiques since she was in high school and was antique dealer having her own business, Creekside, Antiques.

Susan was the beloved wife of nearly 53 years of Robert M. Kellermann; loving mother of Robert Glen Kellermann; dear sister of John (Janet) Warkentien, Michael (Mary Ellen) Warkentien, Kimberly (Duane) Boesche and Victoria (Russell Sabatino) Warkentien; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
