Teofil V. Janicki

Visitation for Teofil “Ted” V. Janicki, 86, of River Grove, will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 9:30 AM, proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road for the funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.  The Interment will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.

He was born on February 13, 1936, in Chicago and passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, in River Grove.

Ted enjoyed participating in many church choirs and was an Army Veteran.

He was the loving brother of Genevieve (the late Robert) Herdzina, the late Richard (Helen) Janicki, the late Fred (Jeanette) Janicki; son of the late Anton and Helen Janicki (nee Gawlik); uncle of Steve, John (Val), Lorraine (Ron), Greg (Hanna), Karen (Bruce), Sharon (Greg) and Sue (Mark); great uncle of many nieces and nephews.
