Therese Brandel

The Visitation for Therese Brandel, 92, of Lake Barrington Shores formerly of Skokie, will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Services will begin with prayers on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, 9:30a.m. also at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, for the Funeral Mass at 10:00a.m.  The Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Therese was born on August 22, 1922 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Vincent and Nellie (nee Bogdanowicz) Dorr and passed away on November 1, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Brandel; loving mother of Larry (Cathy) Brandel, Lynn (Richard) Frankel, Bruce (Lori) and Bill (Carrie) Brandel; cherished grandmother of Bob (Sue), Brian (Shelly), Chris (Beth) Brandel, Brian (Nelse), Keith (Patricia), Jeff (Angela) Frankel, Todd and  Peter Brandel, Jenn (Aaron) Wickendon, Brad and Kailee Brandel; great grandmother of Amy, Matt, Ben,  Evelyn, Tyler, Emily, Casey, Rex, Pierce, Quinn, Ryan, Taylor and Nicholas ; dear brother of Chester (the late Mildred) Dorr and the late Vincent (late Josephine) Dorr, the late Marian (late John) Jindra; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and  friends.
